Two variants — same layout, different outfield
The 9-player template is the standard fastpitch defense — one center fielder, three outfielders total. The 10-player template adds a fourth outfielder (left-center and right-center instead of CF) for slow-pitch and rover-format leagues.

Download and print
Pick the 9-player or 10-player PDF. Both are sized for standard 8.5 × 11 Letter paper — single page, black-and-white printer friendly, no bleeds.

Fill in the header
Team name, opponent, date, field. Four fields across the top — enough to identify the card if it ends up in a pile of similar sheets after the tournament weekend.

Assign positions by inning
For each defensive spot — pitcher through right field — write the player's name in the slot for the inning they'll play there. The boxes are anchored on the field, so the whole defense reads like a depth chart.

Clip and coach
Clip the card to the dugout fence (or hand it to whoever is running the rotation) and play ball. The CTA strip at the bottom is the only piece that mentions Lineupp — fully usable without ever opening the app.
Why this layout
A field-shaped card beats a table every time
Most printable lineup cards on Google are dense tables — rows of position names, columns of inning numbers, names in cells. They work, but you have to read them. The field-shaped layout lets your eye see the entire defense at once, like looking at the actual field.

A softball position template is a one-page card a coach fills in before each game to plan defensive rotations across every inning. The version here is field-shaped: each defensive position (P, C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF) has its own slot list anchored at the spot on the diamond where that player stands. Coaches write the name of whoever plays that position each inning so the entire defensive plan is visible at a glance instead of buried in a spreadsheet.

Seven, which is the regulation length for fastpitch softball at every level from 10U through high school and NCAA. Each position box has seven blank rows numbered 1–7. Time-shortened tournament games that get capped at five or six innings just leave the trailing rows blank — the template handles any inning count up to seven without modification.
The 9-player version is the standard fastpitch defensive layout: one pitcher, one catcher, four infielders, and three outfielders (LF / CF / RF). The 10-player version replaces the single center fielder with a left-center and right-center fielder for slow-pitch and 10-player formats, common in slow-pitch adult leagues and some 10U / Little League rec leagues that play with a fourth outfielder or rover. Three steps. (1) Print the PDF — either variant — on regular Letter paper. (2) Fill in the team, opponent, date, and field at the top. (3) For each defensive position on the field, write the player's name in the row for the inning they'll play there. Bench players don't appear on the template — you only fill in the nine (or ten) fielders for each inning.
